Holla!

Hey everyone,

My name’s John from Manchester, England and I’ve been self-teaching myself Forex along side trading stocks, futures and options along side doing a degree in Computing the past 4 years. After 4 years of my degree, along side my interest in the financial markets i came to the conclusion that i chose the wrong degree! Typical eh? (At least I had all my fun and partying every night)

I’ve been primarily using free sources on the Internet, like BabyPips (which i must say is incredibly well written and easy to pick things up from). I’m currently trading on demo accounts for Forex trying to get the balance correct before i even put a penny into an account. Im a lot more confident with stocks, using CFDs (Contracts For Difference) and making money off them.

Currently focusing on Price Action Trading for basics and using Ichimoku Hiyo Kiko, this indicator I love.

In fact, I’m trying to break into becoming a Stockbroker, or work at a Forex / Derivative brokerage - only thing letting me down is “experience” - ironic. Additionally, i’m looking at developing EAs to aid with the trading process - not to rely on them.

If I could leave one piece of advice, I’d say avoid lower time frames - as they are way too noisy and stressful to trade.

Peace.
