Hi I’m a noobie where it comes to trading and actually landed here by people that have developed their own strategy and have been trading successfully with them. Together with all the ‘big bad banker’ news made me decide to look into the world of trading. If they can make money, why wouldn’t I be able to make something extra on the side right?
Going through the school slowly, looking at forums and video’s about strategies etc it all looks pretty straight forward. Just get the strategy right, don’t go emo and one will be fine.
Since i’ve been getting some idea’s in how I would trade forex I started looking for brokers. I read somewhere that finding a suitable broker is half of the work. And from my research thus far it’s proven true. Haven’t found one that has some horror story written somewhere or requires more money then I earn in 10 years… a pretty large drawdown for me.
But nevertheless I still feel challenged figuring out this financial market, whether demo trading only or taking the risk and putting some real money in for a hobby.
My professional background is in engineering and analyzing IT stuff professionally. I’m living in the netherlands.
