Pls can you advise on the appropriate stage of School of Pipsology where one can start Demo Trading? For example, I just competed Grade Two i.e. Japanese Candle Sticks, and felt the urge to start demo trading as a way to put the candlesticks knowledge to use. Thanks.
Hmmm. I think now would be a good time to start demo trading. I agree that your exposure to the charts can also help you understand candlesticks, indicators, etc. much better. I just hope you don’t decide to suddenly stop readfing and learning while you’re demo trading.
Do you advise going through every lesson front to back prior to starting demo trading? Where can the demo trading be accessed? I’m very early on in my learning.
Thanks @ria_rose . My plan is to run the course to the end while referencing demo trading as necessary. Meanwhile, pls do you have a link to a good videos on how to use TradingView or MT4? That should even precede demo trading.
It’s great that you’re eager to start demo trading! After completing Grade Two on Japanese Candlesticks, you’re at a good point to begin practicing. Demo trading helps you apply your knowledge in real-time. Just make sure to also cover the basics of risk management and trade psychology in upcoming lessons.
You should be trading live immediately. Only way to learn
Thanks. Pls do you have a link to a good videos on how to chart using TradingView or MT4? That should even precede demo trading.
I have a different stance. In my experience, the only way to learn is by actually starting with a course and, in parallel, trading on a demo account. This helps you learn how to control emotions and develop patience. The rest will become history!
That page is specifically created for people who are ready to learn, so now is the good time to consider.
Make sure to treat demo trading as a learning tool. Focus on testing and observing, rather than trying to “win” trades. As you progress through the School of Pipsology, you can keep adding more concepts like support and resistance, trend lines, etc. to your demo practice.
