How do you turn off the alarm on MT4

Not sure what happeninig but the alarm signal is going off every second?

You either have an indicator with an alarm, or you have a price alert setup you forgot about.

If it’s an indicator, then hopefully once you locate which one, it has an alert type input parameter you can set to off.

If it’s a price alert, go to your “Alerts” tab to check. If there is one there, simply highlight it, right click and delete it.

There is an alarm that goes off each time you lose connectivity (and a different alarm once you regain connectivity). This is for MT4 on pc, not mobile. It’s really annoying sometimes as these alarms can keep going on and off when there is a slight instability in connectivity. I’m pretty sure that is what “athlon” is talking about.

This alarm can be muted as follows:
Go to the tools tab
Options
Go to events
Double click any alarm you want to mute (you’ll see a list as follows):
“connect
disconnect
email notification
time out
…” etc
once you double click on a specific alarm, the alarm bell icon will have a red cross over it.
