Hello. I have researched and found that Interactive Brokers is very good, but does anybody know how leverage works for them? I have read some places that they only allow 4:1. I have looked all over their website and it appears that for some accounts with them allow a much higher leverage, but I can’t find a clear answer as to which type of account. If anybody is experienced with IB and knows how they use leverage then please let me know. I would never use more than 10:1, but I just want some extra room to work with. Thanks!
Maybe they do not allow higher leverages like some other brokers I know. But I have been able to Switch my leverage between 1:1 to 1:500 while trading with Profiforex. Don’t you think the best thing is to call their online support and ask how you could use higher leverages?
Thanks for the response and advice. I believe that I have found my answer, but I will contact them and make sure. Since interactive brokers allows you to trade many different kinds of markets from one account that may be why it’s confusing at first, but after searching on their website for awhile I found that as long as I have permission to trade leveraged Forex (which I do) then I can get up to 1:40 leverage on many currency pairs. Thanks again for the response.
