I’ve started with £500 but seeing now that’s a bit low to start off with.
I started with lower actually it was $100 and then put in a few thousand after 2 months.
Is it too low because you can’t make the money you want to make or is it a sensible amount until you have a solid strategy in place, coupled with the chances of you blowing your account?
How’s your account been doing?
£500 is not a low amount to start with as per me we should start trading only with the amount we are ready to lose, so its better to learn by losing less capital.
If I remember correctly I think I started with about $150 many years ago. I lost it all. Over the years I added more and more until I got the hang of it. The last time of significant low point I was at $12. I buckled down, stuck to my system and grew it from there. Don’t get me wrong, I was out several thousand before this point and struggled throughout…but I stuck with the system I use and have built up my account to a point that I am able to trade at a decent lot size as well as withdraw a decent amount each month.
It usually doesn’t happen with most people that they are able to start with such a low amount and grow it into a nice sized account, but it can happen if you have a strategy that is tried and true, you stick to it, and you have a good money management system in place that you follow.
My first initial deposit on Hotforex was 1000 usd but I blew out my deposit twice before realizing mistakes and turning my trading into profitable one.
