i’m 30 yrs old male, divorcd, 1 kid, and about to get married again (same hell, different devil haha), and an actual doctor by the way (i’m in my last year of residency) but with a lot of people that depend on me (my son, my parents, my grandma and my girl supports her family so that means i support them) and living in a third world country it is not easy even with a career to succeed and get what your family deserves , so it was either look for any kind of bussiness to get out of the water or jump the fence and across the deset in search of the american nightmare… i mean, dream (no offense my felow gringos) i searched the internet and fell in almost every scam, from hyips to pyramids, homebussiness selling i dont know what, visiting sites for cents, etc. etc. etc then one day bumped into forex about 8 months ago, started trading live out of need rather than being ready, lost almost 3/4 of my account and then found babypips, and after months of losing just started to collect some profit, anyway i think finally i’m on my way. the reason i posted all my boring story is because i see a lot of young people and i hope this helps so they dont make the same mistakes i did, keep working and dont be discouraged, remember when the tunnel gets darkest, is because the light is about to show up.

42 now, been trading live and full time for (almost) seven months now, and ALMOST making a living!!!
I’ve stopped trading forex on my main account - only trade Indices, Commodities, and Metals now - but have two other accounts at two other brokers where I ‘dabble’ in forex (without much success, on forex that is, thus far I’m afraid).

Well let’s see…oh hey everybody whats up? 
My name is (see screen name), just started learning about FOREX and trading in general 2 weeks ago prior. For a couple of months prior, I was working in Internet Marketing and copywriting learning and struggling a bit with that. hardwork was beginning to pay off a bit but I decided to consciously take the road less travel of becoming a succesful day-trader and do a 360.
I guess I would have my father to thank for re-assuring me that FOREX and trading commodities, metals and the like is the best way to amass a fortune learning a truly invaluable skill set. Amazing opportunities and super simple way to make really, really good money - provided it’s something you enjoy doing…and this is something I already know I will enjoy doing for the rest of my life.
So, that’s my back story. Sounds kinda lame, but it’s really an incredible story when told in person lol.
With that said, I completely deviated from the topic of this post. Just wanted to tell a bit of background.

Let’s see, I will be 65 in 30 years, so that will put me with about 31 years experience in the forex market. With that being said, there is only one person to blame for my success or failure in this market. I guess after 30 years you better hope you are doing well at this. I feel you have to do something YOU want to do (Make those pips), and not what you have to do to FEEL you are successful. I thank babypips for the opportunity to get a better understanding on how this stuff works.
I own a so far successful credit card equipment business for the last 3 years, and have been trading demo for 1/2 year. I devote a lot of the day to reading and analyzing the market trying to find a system that works for me, and when that day comes I will go live, (I feel it coming here shortly), but the little man on my shoulders tells me to get it done and over with and open that live account.

I started with a few demo accounts last April with the capital amount that I thought would be available for me when I feel that I can jump in to the fryer.
