I have an EA I want to test and I found a set file posted on a forum. The instructions are to copy and paste into the MQL4 preset folder. I’m having trouble doing that and am wondering what I’m doing wrong.
If I click on the link or the file it just opens up in a new browser window with pages of code like text such as ‘Slippage,1=5’.
If I right click on it it just comes up with options like ‘Open link in new tab’, copy link address etc’.
I can copy all of the ‘code’ from the browser window but am not sure what I can do with it.
I know I’m missing something really basic and have been on youtube etc, but can’t find out what I’m doing wrong. Can anyone help.
