I am new to forex,I currently have a mt4 demo account,I am wanting to know how to enter micro volumes on a pending order.Is it right that 10 micro lots is entered as 0.10,but if I want to enter tripple digits such as 100 micro lots,is this entered as 0.100 or 1.0,if its 1.0 doesn’t this change the order to mini lots and therefore changes the pip value.
I hope what I have said sort of makes sense,any advice would be helpfull
It depends on your broker
Download an ex4 file from the web called “Status Monitor” this should determine what your lot sizes are worth
MAX, to trade in micro lots its best to have a micro account that will make work much easier for you.
100 micro lots have a collective value equivalent to one standard lot and hence same pip value.
10 micro lots are equivalent to 1 mini lot.
In essence, the pip value does not change since each of those micros still yields 0.1 per pip and 100 of these in a trade will yield 10 per pip.
