Hi everybody,
I have learned the basics and some advanced things about forex trading in general. Now i would like to focus only on GOLD trading, where can i find good informations , tutorials, etc… About it. Ex. Is there any economic calendat, whay kind of news to deal with and where to find em. Fundamental and technical analysis etc…
Thanks
Technical trading is basically the same as with other asset classes. For example a candlestick will give you the same range of info in forex and in gold…and indicator functions the same…chart patterns are the same. Fundamentally that may be a slightly different story, but there is plenty of info online if you look hard enough.
Trading is all the same for commodities, stocks, forex, etc. only real difference is liquidity.
What is your definition of “the basics”?
From what I know support, resistance and candle pattern are still are the same so just trade how you would with forex.
Thank you all. What i meant for instance with cureencies we can make a fundamental analysis using economic calendar , interest rates, etc… I would like to know if there are any informations like this for gold trading. You know mining, central banks reports and prespection, gold production, etc…
For the technical level, it´s ok i m learning more and more, patterns, candlesticks, resistance/support, etc… I miss only the fundamental analysis as it may have a major effect of gold trends.
I ve searched too much on internet, and all is talking about same things, can’t be enough to trade gold effeciently.
Pull up a gold chart, and watch it for as many hours you can, every single day.
Watch gold volatility readings, miner ETFs, commodity prices and the strength of the USD?
You need to come up with your own way to trade my man. No one here is going to be able to spoon feed you.
Trading is a very personal endeavor. My advice- learn how price action is indicative of underlying order flow; then, trade in the direction of the impulses.
I agree with you, if any trader is a technical based trader then he can trade almost any kind of market, the difference only would be a bit of daily range, adjusting stop loss and take profits and having enough margin requirement in trading account.
