Like the title says, I can’t seem to see my profit in MT4 in terms of pips - it just shows it in dollars. How would I be able to change that to pips? Is there perhaps an indicator for this? Thanks!
Its easy - right click on the terminal window and choose Pips from the popup menu.
Thanks; I selected profit -> points. However, it does not matter whether I select that or profit -> deposit currency because the numbers for profit don’t change no matter which one of these is selected. Would anyone know why this might be the case? Thanks.
That is odd. It has always worked fine for me on a number of different brokers’ platforms. As far as I know, that is the only way possible unless you code something which seems like a waste of time.
For what it’s worth, I am using MB Trading demo account. Thanks for the tip anyway. I suppose I could export it into excel (I think?) and maybe write a formula to convert the amounts back to pips.
in my positions panel i see a lot of different column. one of them is p/l and net p/l. the second one is for dollars, and the first one - is for pips. maybe, you just need to customize your panel to see this column.
