My believe in the market work almost every day when the London session open but this is leading me to get to trading every day please help I don’t want to be in the market all day due to greed and my believe syste
Set a rule for yourself. Maybe it’s a max of two trades per session, or only trading three times a week. Whatever works for you. The key is to create a structure so you’re not just hopping in because the market is open.
U are right for sure
Every beginner’s story … and even the veterans too. Struggling around not to over trade. I am also trying to over come this.
My solution is to make an EA from your trading system, the less you manually hit buy and sell buttons to execute the trade, the less is the chance you will decide to watch PNL changes usually cause emotional tensions especially if position is large
Have a system well defined, to see how many times you can trade a day/week. Try to keep those rules in a visible place on your desk or next to your screen, when you are struggling to overtrade just take a look at those rules, and remind yourself to avoid over trading.
Don’t over trade just find yourself just set no of hours for daily trading. Can you share your daily routine?
Pre-plan the events you want to trade and stick by that plan. Also, make coffee your best friend!
My daily routine. 10-15 minutes before my trading session would start I open the charts check if today’s conditions confirm that today I have a trade or don’t. If the conditions are not confirmed for that day that’s all I am not even looking at the charts. If my conditions are confirmed I am placing pending orders with well defined stop loss and take profit. And wait if the trades are activated or not. After that I can take care of the day, sometimes I take a look at the trades on my phone/laptop how it’s going on.(But to get to this it will require a lot of backtest to put your trading strategy on point based on several conditions, and that part takes a lot of time)
I have a similar routine. Checking the charts 15 mins before the session begins.
Discipline over FOMO, bro! Set the limit, cause market wont run away, but your money will.
How much exactly do you spend your time on trading?
Almost all time cause am a day trade
Day Trading is not about spending the whole day on the charts, there are some days when are no trades, or you have to stay away from the market because the high impact news, or bank holidays, because some conditions what you established and backtested.
Maybe set a daily target—once you hit it, step away. Discipline > greed. Consistency over all-day trading!
