Htc hd2 - please help

Hello,

I just bought an HTC HD2 Phone - does anyone know if its possible to run customer indicators on the mt4 platform on the phone?

All info is appreciated - thank you!

Read about this before, i dont think you can on the mobile mt4 platform, i could be wrong or things may have changed.

N

isnt the phone basically like a small computer? with minimal space etc? can i download the .exe and mq4 files and simply apply?

if your using metatrade mobile then i dont think so.

If your installing the full metatrader intended for the windows platform then yes i guess so. But i doubt your phone has a file structure pointing to … program files\metatrader 4 (broker name).

do you think there is any benefit for having an HTC HD2 over an iphone for a trader? do you know if I can run Oanda on my HTC? i know that iphone has that app.

Thank you in advance

No you can’t run custom indicators on MT4 mobile

I have a feeling you’ll lose less money without them anyway.

so there would be no trading benefit from having the HTC HD2 over the iphone?

the iphone has forex on the go which is an even more stripped down app than mobile mt4.

My advice is look into a remote desktop than can be viewed over the internet (HTML I think) But any event the romote desktop will allow you to use a full version of mt4 and control it remotely. it is the only viable sollution for iphone and especially blackberry which really sucks!!!

Good luck. If that doesn’t work you can look into getting a netbook or small laptop and tethering your htc phone.

Personally I have the iphone and I wish I had an HTC it is the best mobil choice out there.

good luck

I just got an HTC at work the phone is sweet!! I have not looked at trading on the phone (yet) I also have a net-book with me at all times for work and the tethering ability of the HTC is what got me excited.

Does it do wireless teather?
I use the android version from those guys.

I think it will with an app, I am pretty sure my friend has his set up that way. I just got it and can barely make a call with it:D

guys i just gagged. just kidding thats from an allstate commercial. anyway i am really excited.

Iphone users I have found a great and I mean really great remote desktop app that blows anything else out of the water.

Its called jaadu remote desktop. I used it to connect to my vps and it is so fast and works great. It is now my favorite mobil option well above mobilemt4.

I am able to run multiple instances of mt4 running my ea’s no problem and I can manage them on the go

Gee thanks…

Now I’ll NEVER get any work done!!!

Only trying to help

Yah…This is really very supporting community … And also a very brilliant guide for the beginners to forex trading…

in the future, we’ll be getting more and more powerful hardware in phones, so forex trading will become easier on mobiles.

Hi, I have just bought a HTC HD2 phone and trying to install IBFX MT4 platform but not successful. Can anyone assist how to install?

What I did was download the latest version of Microsoft Active Sync. From there I went to Pocket PC and selected the For Desktop Sync version of MT4 mobile on IBFX. Then I hooked the phone up to the computer and ran the executable.
