I am in the process of making an Excel technical charting system, which will cycle thru all stock or forex of all end of day data, i have been using it to track my stock for a few years, some of the charts i developed it myself, a trial version will be available for everyone soon, now i need to know what indicators do you guys use mostly to track your forex.
There are dozens of trading/charting platforms for free and for a cost. What’s the point of buying essentially an Excel add-on that “attempts” to do that same thing as an actual platform? Just seems redundant to me.
Yes there are many nice program out there that are more advance than my excel tool, for ppl like me who dont have much knowledge of programming, excel is the best way to have my idea implemented, if only i known so much about programming i would have made some outstanding awesome software for the trading market. With MT4 it is great, but i still cannot create the indicators that i want, i would appreciate if someone with some skill in programming could collaborate to make this possible, i have ideas to make a great automated trading bots, just only if i know how to write codes
So why not just learn to code? You won’t make it very far in automated trading if you don’t know how to even code basic scripts; I’m speaking from experience.

It’s never too late to learn some programming. Even just some very basic concepts can be useful.
