I Had EA developed using a non repainting ADX cross indicator I set the back test for the ea to enter the trader the bar off or the bar after the signal and this is what I got (in pictures) seems that there is extra signals poping up during the test what do you guys think it could be?
Depending on your EA, MT4 backtests can generate very different results than real trading. There are several reasons for that, one is that MT4 backtests simulate tick data with random numbers, while in real trading ticks are real price quotes sent by your broker.
For usable backtest results, only use EAs that don’t perform intra-bar calculation or trading.
