I want to learn. Where do I start?

Guys, don’t you think there are enough of these “Where do I start?” threads occupying the front page of Newbie Island without continually bumping threads that are over a year old to make exactly the same comments over and over again? Just a suggestion …

Please excuse the following off-topic post —

Kudos, Lexy!

That “EA marketing thread” that you campaigned against was just removed by the Babypips Admin a few minutes ago. So, you see? — Sometimes the powers-that-be at Babypips do listen to the concerns of members, and act on reasonable requests.

[I know the exact time that thread was removed, because I had just written a “reply with quote” to your latest post (the one recommending removal of the thread), and when I hit “submit”, I got the error message “invalid thread”. I scrolled back into the forum directory to take a look — and, sure enough, that thread was gone. Poof. Disappeared.]

Anyway, you did it. Congrats!

Dealing with the “Where do I start?” nuisance will probably be a bit trickier.

Thanks, Clint. You’re right. The moderators are particularly fast and efficient today (after a major improvement in recent weeks), for which I’m really grateful.

They are.

Did you notice the speedy removal of a post in this thread which came right after your post #22 above, and before my post (which has now been renumbered to #23)?

The post was removed, but the poster has not been banned. Interesting.

You can start with baby pip’s school section. Videos are a great way to learn about trading and you can find countless videos on the internet about trading.

Agree, start with baby pip’s web school. Read all the article and try to understand the meaning behind all of them. Create a demo account and learn the concepts on demo account. This is the easiest way to start.
