Hi,

IBFX uses MT4. That is a popular trading platform that many other traders on the forum can help you with.
Forex.com’s platform would always lock my pc down.
They are both good brokers besides that.
Despite IBFX pissing me off today, I would still recommend them. This is the first time I’ve had a problem with them and it’s due to a major server update so it’s understandable.
Forex.com I’ve not heard a lot about, and like MyTwoPips said it doesn’t offer the MT4 platform, which many brokers use and is pretty much the standard when it comes to Forex. Ultimately it comes down to personal preference and what you are looking for in a broker. I think Forex.com has a $10,000 minimum deposit or something like that though?
If you are going with a non-MT4 broker I would check out OANDA. I haven’t personally used them, but they are by far the largest forex broker and I’ve heard nothing but good reports about them.
You can always open a free demo account with all three (or even more) and see which you prefer.
The $10,000 is just for a standard account. I think a mini is $2000.
i’ve been with IBFX for about 9 months, and no real complaints as of yet.
I have no problem recommending them.
Cheers
Forex.com has mt4? Really? How do I set it up? I’m new to Mt4, although not as nice-looking as the FXtrader platform with forex.com, mt4 is much more useful.
As for account minimums
Standard: about $2000
Mini:about $250
both are good brokers, i would recommend you demo with both and decide whose customer service style best fits you.i choose interbank over forex just because i was pressured less with them to open an account and they offered addition trading support tool that fit my trading style better
Thanks a lot guys…
I’m using forex.com and ibfx demo accounts at the time and dont know for which one to settle down.
I have few questions…
Does anyone know why is MT4 better than the platform forex.com is providing?
What benefits will i have from the MT4 platform?
… and is there a tutorial: “how to use MT4 platform :)”
Sorry about all the questions guys.
I’m new and trying to learn something.
Cheers

Is anyone using FX solutions platform?
