I wonder if it’s correct to say I’ve lost 150 pips in Forex trade when all my positions (CHF/JPY, GBP/JPY and EUR/JPY) each recorded a loss of 50 pips respectively. I intend to put on my blog (online journal) my daily P/L in Forex trade and just want to make sure I will use the correct words in describing the situation. If u notice, each pair involves the same JPY currency and that’s why I’ve become unsure.
Regardless of currency or pair, you had three seperate positions open.
Each position lost 50 pips.
3x50=150 pips.
It is that simple.
