So I have to close the negative operations to withdraw?
If you put in a request to withdraw all your capital, the broker will send you the money but they will automatically close all open positions. This means that If these are showing a loss they will deduct this unrealised loss from what they send you: if they are showing a profit, they will add the unrealised gain to your capital.
Once you’ve opened a position, you’re in a contract with the broker, there is no way to make it as if it had never happened.
You can withdraw free margin but closing negative positions might be required. Have you checked it with your broker?
I think yes, you can withdraw the balance, apart from the margin.
As you see, above, you already have 3 different answers from 3 different members.
I think the reason for that is that although people are trying to be helpful to you, each is speaking from his own experience, and those experiences vary because in fact the answer to your question varies from broker to broker.
That’s why it’s a question for your broker’s support staff, really, not one for a forum.
You can withdraw the funds from your balance but only the free margin. If your trades are losing money and affecting your margin, you may have to close those positions to release funds for withdrawal. I would advice consulting your broker about their regulations regarding the withdrawal.
I think you can withdraw the balance!
