“First of all I understand that choosing just among the top 100 it’s dangerous mainly because I only lost money with top providers. Many of them has climbed the ranking with less than 50 trades, that’s quite absurd.”
Totally agree with this, vision1987, if I can give advice to anybody, it would be exactly that: stay away from top providers with less than 100 trades.
this is quite a conservative view also, there could be a case where provider will be opening quite some number of trades, should they have more scalping type of trading, so this trades to be executed in 8 weeks trading, for example…
after all, imo, the best way to see how to win with any provider is the alchemy settings - or the so called follower’s settings - cross check with the follower’s ROI and can see how to follow or not.
afterall there is a reason behind the ranking - and being in the top 10-20 the most is that they are reasonable traders, with not high opened positions with good profit - thus attracting the bigger number of followers.
Yeah, tradeguru is doing ok for me too - about the only one I’m following live right now. I’ve been demoing borefx for a while, but still don’t feel confident enough to move them to live. Struggling really to find anyone else I’d trust on a live account at the moment.
Thanks for sharing - does look pretty good. There are a few losing trades, all stopped at a sensible point - so that makes me feel safe with this trader. Plenty of good winning trades - not all stopped at 10pips, so not commission hunting.
Also, what I like is that they are trading a different pair than the herd - helps to diversify the portfolio a bit.
here here exactly my point!! how much more to loose on eur/usd…never put all the eggs in one basket…spread the risk, when something is not going well look for other that is on the opposite pole!!
Yep, that’s important!
Just started trying Tradecopier and as it is an open platform for anyone to become EA, I’ve been able to find many traders that also diversify their targets and strategies.
i checked the videos and i have several concerns about this system:
how much does it cost?:(nowhere to be seen)
traders - how do i choose them and what is my security they will open profitable trades?
As well i would advise you to open a thread about it and do not spam here, this is for zulutrade services only…
Yes, the last 2 are new to me, and have interesting results so far - but I’d advise caution if you have these on a live account as their trading histories are very short, and SwissRE is only trading a demo account and there are no provider comments, so we have no idea what their strategy is, if they have one at all and maybe they are just trying out different things.
Worth watching though, could be new rising stars.
Just wanted to add that it is great to find in various forums about new signal providers of zulutrade , keep the recomendation coming! I will check them all up.
To it is recovering the loss of 40 pips of yesterday. She is keeping a low risk by limiting exposure, I like that way. It is a young system but seems good. Let’s see.
Sorry for hijacking the thread. I’m a new signal provider on Zulutrade. I haven’t been on Zulutrade long but I’m a responsible and transparent trader. I aim for realistic and sustainable returns.
I have noticed that the traders that are the most successful (i.e have the most followers) on Zulutrade tend to be the ones that have extremely high trade success ratios and very smooth equity curves. Running drawdowns is a risky strategy but it seems to attract the most capital. Personally I think this invites periods of significant potential losses like Forex Cruise Control is currently experiencing. Contrary to this style of trading, I prefer to cut losers very quickly so my trade success ratio is far lower. I don’t think I will attract many followers but I will trade on there for a while to see how it goes.
I have a website that explains my strategy and where I update the thinking behind the trades; the address is in my profile.
If you want to check my Performance page out its under the name “Run Winners Cut Losers”. If its not something that is of interest to you now, maybe check back in a few months to see the statistics when they are a bit more mature.
