ZuluTrade adds their “fee” into the spread for followers. I think it’s 1 pip or something… The signal provider gets a percentage of that on every trade opened. So the more trades opened, and the more followers, the more money they will make. It doesn’t matter if the trades win or lose, they will get the commission in any case.

Wrong - the traders in question need to make a profit in the month in order to be paid out on any commissions.

Also try to avoid traders who average into a position.
Look back to mid may when forex cruise and co-fx-24 were ranked 1 and 2 - they opened 6+ trades in same currency and direction (ie averaged into a trade), with no SL only to loose '000s of pips.

Please don’t open more than one position for each pair, never add to loosing position and I you want to add to a winning one, please wait for strong confirmations. Not overtrade. These are the rules you have to respect in order to keep your signals into my account.

May I ask - my settings allow for 2 open trades per SP. Do you find only allowing 1 trade per SP works or are you being too tight and not allowing the trader to manage their way out of a problem.

Eddy - averaging into a trade is a sign of a SP throwing good money after bad - look at Forex Cruise and co-fx-24 in May and youll see what I mean.

Hey, I hear ya for Zulumaster1, but for alpha and oxygen I tend to disagree. I am following them for 3 months and I can say they have a stable and smart trading strategy, I really think the know what they are doing rather than shooting in the dark with open positions like many other providers. if you analyze them closely you will see their pattern as well.

I will never subscribe to a zulu SP again unless they can go a whole year without doing ridiculous trades like not using stop loss and drawdown - 1000 pips lol

yeah as if what you are saying is correct. True a lot of traders burst their accounts, but why don’t you mention the top veteran ones - the one that have the gold medal under their picture? these are traders with long-term performance!

If you want a good and reliable SP on zulutrade than pick me. I have a long term trading strategy and sometimes I keep positions open for a year or so and sometimes they are open for a month. I use 200sma line for the trend. I use MACD for signals and I use ATR to set my stop losses. I still haven’t prove my self but I will soon.

With the last trade ( GBP/NZD ) I have made a mistake, well it was not really a mistake it was just not paying attention very well because there was a profit level of 500 pips but I never set profit levels but zulutrade does this automatically. But still this is a nice profit and I will keep up. Check it out!

mate, you trade since 1/07/2013 and you have a total profit of 1,364 pips…sorry to break that for you but there are much more better performance that yours!
btw, are you a day/momentum trader? you have 16 trades open only?

I joined babypips not a long time ago. I searched a bit around on this forum and I saw a thread about zulutrade and I read it. I searched zulutrade on google and I subscribed. I know a lot about trading because I have studied this when I had the age of 18yrs. I started trading when I was 20yrs. Nowadays I trade and teach people how to trade. Zulutrade was a nice opportunity to try to trade like some of the traders I know trade. But it wasn’t in my comfort zone and I quit doing that even it was going in the good way. After that I quit that I started to do my own thing on zulutrade. I trade like I trade, which is long term based. That is the reason why I have 16 trades with that less pips.

By the way. Looking at pips only is not the right way to start. There are a lot of traders on Zulu with lost of pips in profit but with huge drawdowns and no stoplosses. My avg pips / trade will be higher then the top 10 ranking together. It’s al about growing your account steady and not risky. I know what I do and It’s okay for me that there are members with those reply’s but I don’t mind because I know what I’m capable of.

Not only pips, but also drawdown, and trading stability, and history, and most of all profitability. This is what followers look for. Afterall you are on zulutrade in order to gain followers and be compensated for it, correct me if I am wrong!
