If you found a note on your computer telling you what to do

I’ve been having some completely random thoughts so bare with me!

If you’re anything like me, you so dearly wish that you could go into the future and find out what is going to happen to prices/stocks etc but what would you actually do if you found a note on your PC/Laptop saying something like “Put $xxx on Short USD/JPY at 81.00, stop at 81.10 & close out 3 months later at 70.00”

I think I might put up to 4% or so on it but would you trust the note/yourself?

Edit: I know something like this will never ever happen before I get shot down in flames for it!

I wouldn’t trust it! Probably something a drunken friend wrote. Besides, your question implies that this note has some future knowledge. It, however, sets a stop loss. Why would I need a stop loss at an exact amount if I knew it was going to go down to 70.00. All i needed to know was “no stop”. LOL!

How would you know that the note was indeed written by you in the future? How did you travel into the future? how did you travel into the past and write the note? Would you go back to the future? Stay in the past?

i would throw all my money at it and then be left in a state of distress when i lose everything

I tried this with one of my ‘Turtles’ he asked, “what do I do with this?” he had the initiative to investigate further before finally placing the trade!
