Could someone instruct me as to how to ignore certain threads, so that they are not plugging up my BP startup page with new, when they are just the usual suspects “necromancing for fun and profit”

There is a button underneath Unpinned that you can click and select Normal or Muted. Once you respond to a post you start tracking it which notifies you when there are unread messages. Normal means you only get notified if someone replies to you or mentions you and Muted means you will ignore all notifications on the thread.
Not sure if that will hit your target but something to try…
