I'm a Trader That's what I am (scalping)

Recently I was watching a movie called “That’s what I am”. In the movie A tall kid with big ears, a big head and red hair got picked on at school. One day the school had a talent show and big G (the tall kid) wanted to sing at the show. Big G best friend was real pissed off at him because he didn’t want big g to sing at the show. He thought if big G song at the talent show then the kids at school would tease them even more. But big G was brave, and he didn’t care what other people might say or do. While big G was waiting to perform at the show, his best friend ask him why are you doing this? And big G said “I’m singer, that’s what I am”.

That line stuck with me, so I decided to use it. I’m a Trader, that’s what I am. Never stop doing something because people tell you to stop. Screw them… Be brave like big G

I have been trading 4 years now, and I’m still not profitable yet. I know a lot about the markets, but I haven’t put together a good system yet that makes me money monthly. Recently I decided to become a scalper because it fits my personality. I have been following my scalping system for some months now, and I like it so far.

In this thread I will post my success and losses and will be trading the eur/usd new york session. Ok I have to go now… Happy new year!

Today 1/3/12
10 trades
6 wins 4 losses
+$19
The market (eur/usd) was mainly up today, so I was only looking for pull backs. I missed out on two winners because I was late on the trigger lol. I have a $600 account so the small gains are annoying but hey it is what it is.

I saw a lot of counter trend trades today that I could of took and made a lot my money… But I decided to only stick with the trend for now. I might open a separate account for my counter trend trades.

The chart below explains why I took my trades, but its only three trades. I trade from the 1 min chart but I get my signals from the 5 min.
