I’ve been an investor for 25 years and always viewed trading along the same lines as a trip to Vegas. With the new administration already implementing policy that will destroy business and our economy I am looking for other avenues of growing my money.
There are convincing reasons for anyone who is investing to also trade short-term.
-
leverage - most investments are on a 1:1 leverage basis: brokers for traders will always leverage your deposited capital - by at least 20 times for a a UK or EU broker up to 500 times for others
-
return - how many investments offer the opportunity of a return on capital employed of several percent per month?
-
revenue flow - although you can see the projected value today of your investment if liquidated, trading allows revenue flow to be smoothed out over the long run
-
opportunity to trade intangible instruments - although its possible to hoard currency, forex trading allows speculation on currency exchange rates: these are not tangible assets so unavailable as pure investments
-
recession proofing - many assets are positively correlated with either their country’s economy or their country’s stock market: trading allows profitable speculation based on depreciating performances in these areas
-
liquidity - many investments as well as being long-term, are also illiquid: for example a residential property can either be owned as an investment or it can be sold - but its not possible to sell off a room each year to raise capital
it sounds like you have already realised why you should do it.
What’s your primary strategy?
Avg annual ROI, trades per year, sharpe ratio, and risk of ruin?
There is nothing to convince. It’s all about what you are good at. If you are doing good in your investment, that’s good for. And if you want to trade, remember it requires enough skills and experience to be profitable.
The others have presented pretty great reasons already. Haha. But I just think that the fact that you’re here is a good sign that you’re really considering it Whatever your decision may be eventually, good luuuck!
If you haven’t ever tried your hands at forex trading, now may be the right time for you. Choose a good broker and see how trading works for you.
When it is about trading, I don’t think that you should listen to others around you. Your only focus should be on finding ways that work for you. Just because everyone around you is trading forex doesn’t mean that it will turn out to be profitable for you also. You must find that yourself through demo trading.
The biggest adavantage of trading in the forex market in my opinion is the leverage. You do not need to deposit the full value to open a position rather a fraction of it only. Thisdeposit that you put in is called margin.
I think now is the best time to enter the market, but you need a broker, you can add me, I will teach everything like you, and bring you money
What services do you offer?
I will give my advice and follow some of my own understanding
Because it’s exciting, and you can as easily make money as you can lose
Convince me why I should trade currency…
Why should anyone try to convince you except to probably exploit you? Do your due diligence and decide for yourself.
