Hello! i’ve been trading for a while, pivot points never really interested me, but now i found them really interesting and useful, i would love to read a very in depth book with pivot strategy and analisis, would anyone care to recomend the best book or information source on pivot trading strategy?
I don’t think there is any “in depth” trading book about just one tool.
Because that’s all they are… a simple tool… it has a simple use… it provides s&r based on the last day… that’s it… then you use those pivot levels just as regular s&r lines.
With the very little i’ve researched i’ve found some tipical behaviour of each S&R and applied to my trades, for example breaking R4 would signal a breakout to trending market, on the other hand, not breaking R4 and then going below R3 again sets a short trade as it will very probably go back to the daily ranges. That’s the kind of info on PP behaviour i’m interested in reading.
Ah, I just thought when you meant in depth book that it would be something of at least 100 pages possibly up towards 600 pages 
Another thing about pivot is that if it’s trading above the PP then it’s it’s a bull market and if it’s below then it’s a bear market and that if the next trading day begins above the PP then it’s a bull market as well but I guess it’s not always the case or else how would the PA ever fall below the PP…

It#s really good and the authors website has a course which includes “in depth” stuff about pivots but I haven#t bought the course… if you do that then it would be interesting to hear what you say about it.
I am tempted to buy it though after reading through some of his articles… his way of using PA and S&R is amazing, haven’t seen anything like that anywhere else.
