Incorrect Answer Marked as Correct in Quiz

Hi,

I was completing the quiz “The Number 1 Cause of Death of Forex Traders” and noticed what seems to be an error in one of the questions.

Question:
What is true leverage?

  1. The full value of all your open positions divided by the equity value of your trading account.
  2. The maximum leverage that you can trade with.
  3. Full amount of your total losses divided by the amount of money deposited in your trading account.

From my understanding, option 1 is the correct definition of true leverage, but it is marked as incorrect. Instead, option 3, which is unrelated to leverage, is marked as correct.

Could you please review and confirm?
Thanks for the great content!

Kind regards,
Max

It is, indeed.

(Awkward expression, though, “true leverage,” isn’t it? I think “actual leverage” or “effective leverage” are much more helpful and descriptive. To be fair, though, as I remember the Babypips course does clarify expressly that what it calls “true leverage” is also more widely known as “effective leverage”.).

Well spotted, Max - I’m sure they’ll amend that. :sunglasses:
