i have an indicator that signals sell and buy. how do i convert it to perform auto buy and sell?
someone would need to re-code it for you. i would advise posting thr indicator, screenshots hiw it trades and your results of trading manually as if you can prove it works and is profitable your then very likey to get someone to code it for you
aldo dont forget to show on screenshots where you enter and rxit while using the indicator, this will help anyone trying to. ake yout indicator into an EA

I just saw this post regarding your indi to ea and no real responses. This is possibly because people on other forums often start like this and then end up trying to get lots of people to read the posts and then end up trying to sell what they have. But lets hope you are no one of these. I know of a number of companies who will do this for you and it will cost you about 300-500 bucks. I have my own coder who will charge a lot less than this but you need to provide more information on trades etc. As the poster above has said, you need to log the trades down on here and see for yourself how profitable it is before taking a programmers time and your money. So start posting the trades on here and lets see how we can help
Assuming you use MT4 and programmed the indicator yourself. You can import an Indicator in an EA using: iCustom()

what is the profibility of your strategy if you can show some evidence of it working i can always ask a couple of guys to program it ?

No but im not a programmer, i know a few people who will do it for free but they would like to see how good the system is before coding it, as they have limited time and cannot do free coding for everyone, hence my curiosity.
Plus if the strategy is not profitable, there would be little point in coding it.
Sandybeach is only saying the same thing as me, if you want us to get something done for you then we are asking a simple question, please show us that it is working well and profitable as it is no sense in getting people to spend their time and skills on something if its not going to work. So please dont take the hump it is a very fair request.
Hee, I am helping others out with programming as well. I don’t care if there strategy is profitable, I just like to know what their trading rules are as I have to implement them. People develop their own strategies and I am just helping out with automating them. When they want an MA cross over system, I would advise them not to trade it live, but it is there own learning path
Asking if it is profitable just putted me on guard about the intentions. That is all. It ‘sounded’ like some programmers who offer free help because they are looking for profitable systems to use. paranoid, perhaps…
And I asked nicely. I didn’t say that he was a scammer or a thief. I just asked if that is required for him to offer his help. He replied, and thats it.
So please dont take the hump when I ask a very simple and fair question.
the other reason to ask is the guys i know have made alot of EA’s for people but if they strategy is not proven then the requester constantly asks for changes trying to make sonething not proven to work which can mean it can become time consuming.
This is just what i have been told by the guys i know as they work rather work on something that has some evidence of it working rather than no evidence.
I have no hidden agenda’s or motives and were all here to learn and improve our trading.
