Inner Circle Trader's Pro Traders Club 2012 - 2013 Series

One thing I don’t use is reflection, I’ve not ‘got’ it yet, could anyone be so kind as to point me to the watering hole? Never seen anything dealing with it specifically.

PPF, it’s the video on 6/1/2012, market review w/price pattern

Purple, do you trade full time mate?

Funny enough, someone asked the same recently, and I thought 'Certainly Not, I try to keep it to an absolute minimum!", but I know what you’re asking, the answer is yes.

Have you got it bookmarked, or do you remember this stuff?

Today the daily market structure on the fiber has not been broken and it’s still bullish (righte?!? ) while the H4 market structure is bearish. The price has tested the 1.3140 level three times, don’t you think it’s possible that we are going to see a rally up above that level?
How is going to be your bias for intraday trade from now on, are you a bull or a bear?

haha Excellent, I intend to go full-time mid next year, I earn considerably more from forex trading than I do working full-time!! However as soon as I stop working my forex profits will be taxable, even though I do it through a spread betting company!

How come it’s not taxable when you are working another job also…?
I live in Denmark, which is pretty much a communistic country, so here, you must pay a HUGE tax on everything you earn :frowning:

Compiling the catalogue, will be a great help to us all when I get it finished - in mid Sep now.

Hi Esser

Ouch!!

Providing you trade through a spread betting company rather than a forex broker in the UK, it is classed as gambling so profits aren’t taxable. Luckily the spread betting companies have now cleaned up their acts, so you can trade with them without any hassle really.

I am a little lost. I thought work or no work if spread betting any income is non taxable! Why is it that if you stop working they will start taxing you?

Hi,

Is anyone watching the EUR/CAD? I’ve just placed a Entry order based on the following information outlined on the charts below.

Nice for you UK people! But how come it becomes taxable as soon as you quite your day job…?

PPF and jonnycab posted about “double tap” but have two different thoughts on what it is. Can other clarify what they think it is? Michael, would love to hear your thoughts on it.
Thanks!

It’s a bit of a grey area, however after speaking to a number of traders who have spoken to the Inland Revenue and their accountants, it appears that if it is your sole income then they will look to tax you on it!

Seems kind of funny that they don’t want to tax you if you have another income also…? But hey, if they don’t, then that’s just great!
