it sits on wR1, daily central pivot, structure ok, possible up target 25. on the other hand its friday after long week up. Could fail all support, but if so more likely in nyo, which would likely give an ote into 3100 and time to close

Well and i’ve been keeping market structure and flow in mind but mostly just looking at how price bounces around.

Today/yesterday classic z day fibre - ICT says if in a z day(s) or suspect it will be one (say from asian close this morning looking back) put on the traders trinity - if in over bought territory then the first push for stops will be on the top side - just like this morning .

I like the Cable today, I liked the short from 1.6135 or so, seems to be consolidating/ranging now. I’d like a break below 1.6104.

No trades for me today though…

LOKZ did present an opportunity for a 30 pip scalp, but price did not retrace to 1.3100 support for me to short from so another limit order not fulfilled, but i am not upset about this. I just want to shoot the train driver that’s all :D… LOL Well i am flat and possibly for the best. I had the best week so far and in terms of pips made more then i would ever want to. Don’t know if its just beginners luck ?, time will tell. Until then looking forward to forexmass. Ho Ho HO

Thanks, I try, I should do more, I want to help some of these serious newbie’s that come on, and see the ICT threads a bit too daunting, I mean, if I’d have never seen it before I’m sure I’d be going WTF, I’m thinking of doing a thread for that purpose too, a 4 month run thing, to set out the basis of ICT’s material, spread the word, I’ll have to have a proper approach though, like ICT obviously did at the start.

Also peterma is compiling a catalog for us, I’m looking forward to that, all professional must have a proper reference manual.

I was expecting it to follow the Cable downwards, but we didnt get the break in MS (1H and higher)

Ah now that reminds me of what I said this morning about looking at next week from a different perspective, I’ve been trading max 1hr chart, I cant remember if the last week before Christmas was profitable or did I trade or not, but looking at that Daily chart this year, it looks like there’s a good possibility it’s died down already and there won’t be much opportunities at all, ICT clearly isn’t going to bother, his focus is going to be on some more ‘revelations’ for us.

Might it just drift down all week to 1.2900 again, that’s where it’s been staying most of the last few months, maybe it will spend another couple of weeks holiday again there over Christmas.

Hey Dodge, where’s your volume indicator?

I’ll tell you this as quickly as I can, got into ICT stuff, and still wanted to use Volumes, then saw how good it was and fell out with it, then had a good think about it, and you can still use it to get an edge.

Remember you look for extreme high or low volume and wait for the reaction, that’s no good, I was looking at it yesterday, at best you would have been in a break even trade, it’s the reaction that’s the pitfall, you’ve got to wait for it, so you’re loosing pips before you start, so by that your lowering your risk per pip, which also means that your break even is more likely to be hit etc etc etc. But those extreme volumes can be quite useful, but now you see extreme volume so you know something is up, it’s going to move, but you don;t wait for the reaction, you wait for it to hit the next SR level and use OTE in the Kill Zones, also handy for exits, I used it yesterday to close all my trade off, I think it was big volume no progress in price, hitting the Asian levels of last week, and back up it goes.
