I’m flattered you managed to learn from me, I guess whether I do the right thing or wrong, you can still learn from it. 
But as you say, this is an amazing thread & up to recently I have made very little input. Love the co-operation & dedication the likes of you, Clint & Purple have put in here, not to mention Michael of course 
you guys got it right. stupid me. have not been taking much profits lately, were always waiting for a big break out with a much to big portion of my trade. could have booked so much profits. today again, entered fiber and cable long in LO, did not take ANY profits. i’m still in the trades but gave away so much pips already. well, next time (and then there will be the monster breakout :D)
Haha! For once both my entry and exit was actually quite good! I’ve never tried that before, but it feels great! I definitely plan on doing it some more!
But the last two days I’ve done exactly what you are saying! Holding my trades for waaay too long, waiting for that monster breakout! It’s really frustrating when the trade then turns on you instead! :56:
Thats just one aspect again and all just theoretical. It would be great seeing him apply that and everything else in a trade.

hmm… where to start… as per everyone else… real choppy week… teaches me to try and trade gold also… anyway if you were a buyer on the fiber… where would your last ditch place be? Been looking all morning and didn’t get into the move as it done 20 pips in a sec… perhaps was the t-rex tail or something… but the right foot… now that could be big fig 3300…but that would be a big s/l for me… so have gone for a pending 3283 s/l below the daily swing low… if it busts south will look to get in on a retrace. Commercials not heavily net short on fiber yet although they are getting there on the cable so Im not expecting seasonal yet. OTE yesterday Low - Today High, AR Reflection, S/R and hopefully KZ. Still trying to employ KISS.

USDX on R1 daily pivot hopefully there’s enough resistance to bounce it back down…
My entry is a little early possibly, feels like the calm before the storm, so little movement out there!

Are we seeing the breakout now?
Well thats me done and dusted for another week, really getting owned by the market while were in this consolidation so i think the best thing for me to do is just to sit sidelines until we break out of this…
Im setting alerts on my phone for a break to either side so i’ll just wait for that…
We had a break of the cable highs at the 1.588, and took the OTE long, both yesterday at LC (which got stopped out during Asia), and re-entered at LO on an OTE which initially took off, but i was looking at first profit for a break just about the 1.585 level which it missed by a few pips and went down to stop me out - i was at the gym and just got back to see it happen…
I dont think scalping and closing out my position at 20/30 pips is “my thing”, and thus fourth its best i stay out til we break out of consolidation…
In some draw down on my account now, so reducing my risk from my fixed 1%, down to 0.5% until i can get back into the swing of things…
Let the battle continue, ill be back, you can count on that
