Hi Friends,
I am effectively using EMA & CCI for scalping for the past 1 Month.The Results are encouraging.
Entry made in 5 Mins chart Using 288 & 1200 EMA to know trend & momentum and CCI for entry.

[B][U]Entry Rules for Long[/U][/B]
If we want to go long price should be above both 1200 & 288 EMA.Will enter once CCI Moves above -100 from oversold area Provided Difference between entry point & 288 EMA is not more than 25 Pips. (This done to avoid buying Over bought Condition).
Note: 1)1200 EMA (Proxy for 200 EMA in 30 Mins)- This used to Find trend.
2) 288 EMA is average price of last 24 Hours-This used to find Momentum.

Entry Rules for Short[/B][/U]
Vice versa of Long Entry.

[U][B]Exit rules[/B][/U]

Stop Loss & Take profit 30% of Daily ATR with 1:1 Risk Reward Ratio.

thanks for sharing your system, a question on the week av. ema, how did you come up with the figure 1200? shouldnt it be 1440? (24hrs * 12 5min-bars per hr * 5 trading days) or am i missing something?

Thanks for your interest. 1200 EMA taken as a Proxy for 200 EMA in 30 Mins . 200*6 =1200.

I’m taking a look at this system but I don’t understand what does it mean “Stop Loss & Take profit 30% of Daily ATR”,
and what about CCI setting, -21- ?

Just code the EA.
but can’t understand the S/L and T/P.
so I setup as S/L and T/p,can be changable

hi daily atr is avg daily movement in pips.ATR period is 14.CCI period is 20.For Eg:If daily ATR is 100 PIPS then our t/p & s/l will be 30% of 100 PIPS i.e., 30 PIPS.

Thanks a lot for your EA.Wonderful work.
[B][U]I have the following clarification[/U][/B]
1)on what Period CCI is working (14 or 20).
2) Have you Applied Filter that Order should be not more than 20 PIPS from 288 EMA.
3) Also can you pls add ADX filter. ADX should be above 25 to accept order.(This will avoid range Market)
4) Can you make customise all the above Inputs settings( EMA, CCI ,ADX & Differential PIPS).So that these inputs can be changed as per time Frame.

Back Tested our stratergy in amlost all currency Pairs.
Nearly getting Break-even & Marginal Profit in most of the pairs. If we can add ADX (to avoid Range market) and Differential PIPS(to avoid buying at top & selling at bottom) surely we can expect handsome profit.

Hi,

CCI period i have given as default “14”. i will update it fully customized and will add ADX filter.

EDIT: All period and values are customized.user can edit. ADX filter added to avoid range market.
Still ATR T/P,S/L trying to understand. can u illustrate with chart image.

Thanks a ton for your speeday work.Daily ATR can be find in daily chart .
Have attached Daily ATR of EURUSD for ur reference. It is 90 PIPS so that our SL/TP should be 30% of 90 PIPs i.e., 27 PIPS.

ALso kindly add Differential PIPS i.e., difference between buy/sell Price should not be more than 20 PIPS from 288 EMA. (difference between order price should not be above 20 PIPS from 288 EMA)

OK thanks a Lot.I think ATR TP & SL not that important you can leave it.We set it manually.If you can put dynamic SL 10 PIPS below/above 288 EMA that too will be useful.

Hi Sheriff & Other Members,
It was very good first day in Live trading with Our strategy EA.Totally we had 4 trades (USDCHF Short, USDJPY Short,AUDJPY short & USDCAD short. APart from USDCAd remaining 3 trades reached our target profit of 30 Pips each.[B][U]Totally 60 PIPS Net profi[/U][/B]t. USDCAD hit Stop loss of 30 PIPS.
So it is encouraging start for our stratergy. [U][B][U]This would not had been possible without Shefiff who designed stratergy in to Expert advisor.[/U][/B][/U]
The only Flaw is at times order entered at top or bottom of consolidation(Trade entered on extended move).Hopefully we will overcome once differential PIPS is added to our EA.

Ok but I think you take positions with different rules.Because CCI wasn’t above the 100 on USD JPY

gentleman go thru chart carefully.usdjpy short cci is below 100 as per rule.every order done by EA as per stratergy.
