So nice to have found such a fantastic website with so much valuable information. Well written, and oh so funny.
I am brand new to trading and forex. Only been looking around for a couple weeks. Made my way through most of the school and am just starting to read the daily blog articles.
Lucky me, a very successful trader has offered to mentor me. He is out of the country and very busy so I am unable to get much out of him, so I am turning to you in hopes of gaining some great insight.
So here is what I know…he will be teaching me his very succesful system in about one month. The only thing he told me was to come here to babypips.com, practice with a demo account, and study the 4 hour charts.
What I need to know is…what areas should I concentrate on to get the most out of my short time to get prepared?
Better to ask what may seem like a silly question to some, and to get some great answers than to not ask and fumble around and be unprepared…right?
Pretty please, can you help a girl with tons of hope and determination?!
Don’t you think it a little strange he couldn’t spare 5 or 10 minutes to elaborate a little on exactly what it is he expects you to study on these 4 hour charts while he’s away?
If he’s as busy as he appears to be then surely he’d want to ensure his prospective mentee is at least partially prepared with even a basic grasp of the framework.
It might save you & him a little time if you perhaps e-mailed him & asked what type of study he expects you to perform ahead of this system training.
Do yourself a huge favor, wait out the month.
If what he’s got to offer you is all it’s cracked up to be then you shouldn’t need to waste your time trawling through here.
I really can’t understand his logic. If I was looking to personally mentor someone with a blank canvas the absolute last thing I’d want is for them to wander onto a retail trading forum prior to training exposing themselves to all kinds of bad habits & spurious advice.
I mean, you’re talking about one month.
What’s the rush?
Why would you want to distract yourself & potentially dilute focus. Once you’ve gone through all his training & you’re comfortable with trading the system, that would be the time to perhaps spend a little spare time browsing a forum.

Last night I started watching the videos ITC has posted to YouTube. (Thanks ITC!)
For now I guess I will continue to enjoy life (as always)…while soaking as much general knowledge as possible.
