Hi guys I’m Alex a former royal marine from the UK I don’t really have a background but I have been following and studying for a while I really could do with any help you knowledgable guys could give I have started an account on trading 212 and am doing ok just want to learn grow and build and help to subsidise my income eventually If any of the expierinced traders are willing to act as a mentor to me and advise and help me grow that would be amazing . I like to day trade currently but am open to anything and just really want to learn

Finding a mentor can be tough because even though trading by itself is already time consuming, teaching even one student can be just as time consuming on its own. That doesn’t mean you can’t learn from others. Check out the forums, blogs and videos around the internet and you’ll learn a lot of the necessary basics. And to be honest, the real learning comes from doing as I’m sure you’ve experienced in the Royal Marines. Take trades, observe the market and your thoughts, and record your trades religiously, and I have no doubt you’ll learn a lot from that process.
