Invalid Stop Loss - Take Profit Metatrader 4

Hey Everyone! Hope everyone is good and profitable!
I recently encountered a problem… As i was trying to put a Buy limit pending order on my MT4 I will put an example: Entry 1.08115, SL 1.07277, TP 1.10096.
And it said Invalid SL or TP. Same if id like to put a sell limit pending order… (with different example ofc… )

I already checked on m brokers page and restarted my MT4 and still it wont work. My risk is set to 2.5% and i do risk management. Also i draw everything out on tradingview first, test it and then proceed to do my trade in MT4.

But every time i want to set up a trade it stops me with a Invalid Sl or Tp.

Please if anyone can help id appreciate it, im not willing to miss out on good trades.

Is the current price above or below the buy limit price that you set for your pending trade?

In the example it was bellow. But i used to set orders in advance for a day or so when i used to got o work as now its lockdown… so i can be here and execute orders but anyways its just annoying. Yes the price was bellow. But sometimes it is above and it worked perfectly fine… just recently it is all over the place and won’t allow me to do pending orders

In MT4 you can’t place a buy limit unless the buy price is lower than the actual price, because you’re expecting the price to hit your buy limit order and reverse.

In your case you need to place a buy stop order.
