I’ve seen a lot of post from newbies who switch to forex trading because they want to quit their job. Which one is better, normal work or forex? What are the pros and cons of forex vs a regular day job?
Well, I will not suggest to quit your job until and unless you have mastered the art of making money online through forex or any other type of trading. Forex Market is open 24 hrs a day all days of the week and so, I would better suggest you to continue with your job and trade forex after your job hours are complete. That way things can be managed in a better manner. You can definitely quit your job once you have reached at that level of success with your forex trading.

well i don’t believe that anyone should strive to work a 9to5 their entire lives lol but i do believe that you have to work for some time until you’re able to work for yourself, on your own business endeavors,including forex trading
Some people truly receive fulfillment from their jobs. I have an uncle who is a doctor and trades forex as he says “to pay for vacations.”
It all depends on what you want out of life. Full time or supplemental income it’s great either way just take it seriously and it can really enrich your life.
I on the other hand, hope to be able to go full time forex in the future!!

yea, you’re right. I just want to enjoy my life to the fullest, and be able to work on my own time and not on a schedule. So, it just depends on the person

We can not compare normal job with forex trading both had their own advantages and disadvantages. Forex is more risky than job but had money potential , one can earn more than his routine. In job their is a security of earning regularly and it had fix income we can not go for a big jump as we can get high profits in forex business.

When you have a good trading skill; then must be Forex is the best one! But with an ordinary trading skill; Forex is challenging.

i completely agree. a job will always be slavery in my eyes, im sorry lmao
its not a easy question to answer , depends on condition ,most of the time Forex causes a great losses , but job always give a a permanent salary. on the other hand , Fx can make you rich very rapidly that job cant at all.

It really depends on the jobs, some jobs pays like millions a year and it’s hard to do in Forex to be real, maybe if you are only a big brokers - then probably yes;) Anyway good to have you here, just hone your skill and try for yourself part time after your main job and then decide for yourself.
I would love to trade forex full time as a job. Better than going out to work.

If you are good enough to be a full time trader though then surely that would be awesome
no quitting normal job, until you think you can generate your livelihood from forex trading.
I put more time (100’s of hours) into the first 2 years getting to grips with trading the Forex Market than anything else I have done… and I was self employed for 20 years. This is a hard gig, your capital is at risk, it defies logic most of the time and it can be mind numbingly boring or tear your hair out frustrating… still interested??
The biggest plus for me is all I need is an Internet Connection (reliable…) and I can generate an income… from anywhere…24/5. It can give you a certain freedom that you don’t get from most occupations.
There is Good and Bad in everything we do… so get some serious due diligence done before jumping into this game as a full time earner… it’s not as easy as it first looks on the surface!!!
i don’t know what actually normal Jobs but Fx trading not lika normal something, 95% become loser from this trading place , that means it not normal at all.

It will entirely depend on the perspective of a trader. Whether a trader is feeling comfortable with the forex trading as his main occupation or he is trying to earn extra money from forex trading beside his normal job. And there is no short cut answer to this question. As each trader is different the answer will vary also.
If I still had a great job that I enjoyed I wouldn’t bother with forex or trading of any sort. Not working is only half as good as having a great job. But its twice as good as having a bad one.
For me it is better to have regular job just because of income which I get each month.
That is something that gives you background for standard monthly expenses which must be payed.
Forex gives me additional income I can use for increas of my account balance and afterwards as additional income I can spent on stuff I cannot afford with my salary.
For any trader on the Forex market one goal is common and that is to:
- Earn money
More money in pocket means more freedom and fulfilling wishes because people wants to have what they want.
Others just want to have adrenalin rush they get like in casino.
So, many traders and many reasons…
Yes, I am not quitting my job anytime soon. I still have a long way to be considered as a professional trader. I’m taking this one step at a time.
