I have seen that you can earn between 10 and 20% per month in Forex. I did it myself in a demo. It is what everyone agrees that you can earn per month with low risk. My question is, can an account multiply by 100 in a month with some Forex strategy with low risk? I don’t see it possible. I have seen some bots on YouTube, but they seem like scams to me.
10-20% a month is extremely high risk. That’s 200%-800% CAGR.
100x a month is 9900% a month… 10^23% CAGR.
You’re in a dark place on YouTube.
I feel you’ve asked this before. In topics you’ve started.
That’s putting it mildly. “Very repeatedly before” is accurate.
The question, apparently, doesn’t change (neither do the answers).
Funny how different people have different ideas about what “everyone” agrees.
It must depend who you know, I guess?
Everyone I know (including some professional traders) says that the proportion of forex traders who ever get as far as making 5% per month is only around 2 or 3 people in 100.
If most people could make 10-20% with low risk, where would all their profits and payouts come from, do you think? Who’d be losing all those billions, every month?
“Everyone” you know is doing well. The director of the UK’s “FCA” regulator, giving evidence to the British parliament, last year, said it was under 1% who are profitable at all, over a year. And that’s among the customers of the world’s best-regulated brokers: it must be significantly lower, anywhere else?
Yeah, no way that’s real. Lowrisk stuff just doesn’t explode like that, those bots are mostly sketchy.
I think between 1-5% is realistic if you are applying appropriate risk to your trades, yes you could earn >20% but if your trades go south it’s painful believe me…
Not real and even if it somehow worked once in a hundred, way too risky. A never ever thing for me.
I ask what I want as many times as I want, the forum is public, if you don’t like the thread, don’t answer.
Those bots are fake
That applies to the replies, also.
You don’t own a thread because you began it. As you say it’s a public forum.
You started 22 threads here to ask for advice. Schmaltzherring replied helpfully in 14 of them, with well informed posts liked by very many members.
If you dislike his replies, ignore them, or him, but you don‘t have the right to instruct him not to post in “your“ threads, since you don‘t own the forum (I don‘t actually know who owns it, but I’m pretty sure it’s not you!).
Wanting advice isn’t the only reason for asking questions.
But don’t worry, @miguelgta : I’ll put you on my ignore list right now, and not see any more of your questions, to make sure my replies don’t annoy you again. Sorry they have done. Good luck with your learning-curve and I hope it‘s a smooth one for you!
Multiplying an account by 100 in a single month with low risk is not realistic. To achieve that kind of return a trader would need to use extreme leverage and accept very high drawdowns, which usually ends with a blown account. Consistent gains of 5 to 20 percent per month are already exceptional in real trading with controlled risk. Bots or strategies promising 100x growth in such a short time are almost always misleading because they ignore the risk side. Sustainable trading is about steady compounding and capital preservation rather than chasing extraordinary returns.
I managed to double a demo account in about 2 months but then lost all that in month 3 as it was risky and relied on the market behaving in a certain way.
