Is Technical Analysis enough?

Do you think technical analysis is enough? Or is it also important that traders are able to combine technical analysis with fundamentals?

Trading requires a combination of many techniques. That is why making a profit consistently with just technical analysis is the most complicated task. I need to have an idea about fundamental and sentimental analysis.

i think enough is more inappropriate word in this market place , there is nothing 100% in Forex trading for that reason there is nothing which is enough even good knowledge and experience.

All the fundamentals which are important have a visible effect on price in that they cause it to move. So you can understand the impact of fundamentals from price tendencies even if you never heard what those fundamentals were or understood them.

But - this only follows on the longer time-frames so if you trade off intra-day charts, you are throwing away fundamentals apart from the immediate market response to news events - that is just making your work harder.

Technical analysis is definitely enough but i would keep an eye on news and not trade when high impact is coming out

sometimes i feel any kind of technical analysis its all about short time approach, there is nothing permanent result i found at all. its my own experience

The way the question is formulated is flawed in my opinion. Because nothing you do in the market is 100% guaranteed of success. Can you be profitable focusing solely on technical analysis? 100% you can. But your technical analysis still need to take in account how fundamental variables affect the market conditions you need to perform your technical analysis.

I prefer more technical but best to have a grasp of both

Yes, Technical Analysis works and it can give you an edge in the markets. However, Technical Analysis alone is not enough to become a profitable trader. You must have: A trading strategy with an edge.
