Is there a "delete" button in MetaTrader 4?

I practise with lines, regression lines, graphics, … and the only way I’ve found to delete my actions is the backspace button on my computer.

That doesn’t allow me to delete previous specific actions from the past.

Does MetaTrader have a Delete button somewhere?

Are you on the practice account?
At the top of your MT4 platform there’s a button that says “Expert Advisors” click it and the green arrow will turn red. When it is red the EA is not tradiing. The most drastic way is to remove it from the chart you are trading it on. Right click on the smiley face go to expert advisor, click on remove.

After you have done this you should be able to manually close the trade. Go down to the trade listed at the bottom of the screen and double click on the trade, a pop up with the order will appear and you should be able to close it that way. The other way is to right click on the trade and click on “close order”. I 've had to do it that way when the other way doesn’t work.

If you mean how to delete the lines/objects etc, then there are 2 ways.

  1. Double click on the object to “select” it, (you can even “select” several at a time), then when your mouse is on the line/object, right click and a options box will come up with several “delete” options.

2)Right click anywhere on the screen and another options box will come up…select “objects list” which will list all your graphics from which you can delete to your hearts content.
