Is there a way to get MT4 to only show certain periods of time in a given timeframe

I would like to only see say 6am-9 am over and over.

There is no setting that controls this.

I suppose you could program something that deletes historical data for the unwanted period, but you would still see the gap on the chart. Most people use an indicator which draws a box around the time period (usually a session such as European) with a different colour background. That is very effective in focusing your eyes on the desired data. There are several around the internet; just look for something called “MT4 sessions indicator”.
