The question in this post is very interesting. And I think that answer should be given by each trader on Forex market. Certainly there are strategies that are perfect fit for one trader and for other they are perfect miss. Which is your strategy which you would never trade?
The classic example of a strategy to not trade would be the moving average crossover.
Actually, MA crossovers are helpful patterns which provide useful information but do not use them to do this -
buy when a short-term MA crosses above a long-term MA, and hold until the short-term MA crosses below again.
Another strategy to avoid might be any variation on Martingale systems - double the size of your position after every loss. This is a roulette etc. (games of chance) betting strategy which progressively increases your capital risk without any corresponding increase in the probability of success.
