Is there such a thing as trader's intuition?

I agree with @ma252. Just want to add few information only

Intuition will never relate with human greed and desires.

But I have strong intuition with my cat, I’m very certain my kitty is coming to me soon. Reason, now is hers lunch time :joy_cat:.

I just receive an intuition, my cat will move to hers litter box soon after meal. It is 100% sure accurate!! (just kidding)

Here is the resource about the real use of intuition in scientific way. It was a game for us, psychology student, back then. It’s not 100% accurate, but amazingly, it can define the object characteristic accurate in some extends.

As intuition in spiritual world, you may google the topic of Jhana. It will explain a very details about how our mind work, and if you are interested in this area, you can even proof it by following the instructions. :innocent:

Yep, trader’s intuition is a real thing, but it’s not some magical gut feeling. It comes from experience—after spending enough time in the markets, you start picking up on patterns and behaviors without even realizing it. It’s more like muscle memory for your brain. But you still gotta back it up with solid analysis and risk management. So yeah, trust your instincts, but don’t rely on them alone!

I completely agree! Trader’s intuition definitely develops over time through experience.

But how do you differentiate between a genuine intuitive insight and a biased emotional reaction when making trading decisions?
