Layering mutiple cci's in different time frames?

Can anyone explain how to show a 60min cci on a 5min chart?

Low tech way would is to multiply the period for CCI on 5min chart by 12… -> 60 mins / 5 mins = 12… The same thing can be done with Moving Averages… You would likely need to zoom out a little or it will be really flat…

Next just add additional CCI indicators with the different period comparable to what Sudo Chart it is representing…

Examples:
Default CCI is 14 on my MT4 -> 14 x 12 = 168 Period CCI 5min (Sudo 1hr)

CCI 14 5min x 48 (48 5min Candle in 4hr) = 672 Period CCI 5min (Sudo 4hr)

CCI 14 5min x 3 (15min Candle) = 42 Period CCI 5min (Sudo 15min)

CCI 14 5min x 6 (30min Candle) = 84 Period CCI 5min (Sudo 30min)

ect…

Cheers.

Base Period (14) CCI 5 min
Pair: A/Cad

Notice the chart has to be zoomed out to see (672) period (Sudo 4hr) cross 0.00. Really it depends on the usage. I use very few if any indicators and higher time frames so this is just for example purposes. On principle I never use the default setting…

Looks like it would only yield 72 pips so far if you traded long when all three are positive after the low was established on the 4hr but you could stay long if (672) stayed above 0.00 depending on the strategy.

Cheers.
