Legally allowed countries

Please let me know what are the countries legally allowed to do forex trading.

I think every single country on this planet is allowed to do trading legally. But i just heard people from india having some problems in fx trading

Not every country allows or encourage retail Forex trading as we know it. For example, rules on retail Forex are not conclusive in Pakistan either. The government does not endorse it but it also does not discourage activity. India is even stricter, however huge underground market exists including 2 million accounts in Bombay and surroundings, alone. Likewise, most South American governments do not endorse retail Forex but large market does exist in Brazil and other countries. Retail Forex is a culture in Japan whereas South Korea is restrictive. Technically, even USA does not allow its citizens to open off-shore accounts.

Introduce Yourself is just that, an introduction forum not meant for questions. Please following along with our Forum Rules as well as placing any threads in their most appropriate forum, which, in this case, could be Newbie Island or Forex Brokers.

Another way to look at this question is whether there are any Forex Brokers doing business in your country. Then confirm whether the broker is legally allowed to do business there.

Your message has been moved to the Newbie Island forum for the time being.

Thanks,
