I thought your broker would have them somewhere. Check with them.
or type in libor rate in google and the top listing will have them for you. (sorry not allowed to post links yet).
It’s not of huge relevance anyway for your day-to-day trading. LIBOR represents the rate that banks are lending to each other at and most banks currently aren’t really lending much to each other as they all know in what bad shape they really are. Anyway they’re all too busy flipping recently bought bonds back to the Fed for a substantial profit at the expense of the US taxpayer as part of the Fed’s POMO program and then gaming the stock market with the profits seeing as the Fed has basically made it a risk-free enterprise… for the moment.
Thanks for answering.
@thetimingguy. I checked with my broker and they don’t really provide them on a daily basis. Yet they told me that I can check them somewhere on the web. Now I did of course google it but I wonder if there is a particular website for it. As I am getting a bit confused with his LIBOR. Apparently there are several of them and I have found a website they seem to just talk about LIBOR in general and not the EURO or USD LIBOR.
Anyone can clarify this for me please?
@pipbandit, I am aware the the impact is minimal, however I would like to have a greater picture about it. However minimal this impact is for me I guess the implications are greater for the big players.
So I would like to keep an eye on the LIBOR as it might tell you something more than just how much I have to be credited or debited if I keep my position open for a number of days.
Here you go:
Just click on Bonds & Rates and you’ll see the US, Euro, British LIBORs as well as some other stuff. I think it’ll only show you the previous business day’s rates each day.
What a service …Great PipBandit…
