CABLE: Recovery rally extended to $1.6518 with traders noting the
buying linked to an oil company need to cover dividend payments. One
trader notes that the order began Tuesday the company needing to buy
between stg200-500mln at any time between the hours of 0700GMT/1300GMT.
Order finishes Monday with fix rate published Tuesday. Cable currently
trades back around $1.6495 after order exhaustion but underlying tone
remains buoyant. Cable offers now seen placed toward $1.6520 more
toward $1.6520. Technically the break above $1.6490 brings $1.6589 into
view 1.618% swing of Tuesday`s pullback from 1.6490 to $1.6329.
A classic 50 % fib retrace before it shot up this morning.
R2 @1.6564 reached.
