Long term trading

Hello guys,

I’ve always heard about long term trading but I cant find a trader that gives long term trading. The longest term trading that my trader can have is only a week.

Anybody can recommend a good trader that has long term trades?

Thanks
Steve

I’m not sure what you’re looking for but if you go back to main discussion and scroll down to swing trading, there are lots of threads that deal with long term trading

Yep I do suggest you drop by the swing trading part of the forums: Show me the money! [Swing Trading] Position traders typically watch the daily or weekly time frames and could hold on to their positions for a week or even months!

thanks guys.

any suggestions for a good trader where we can trade long term

What do you mean by “where”? You mean a Broker platform? There are many of them. You can trade longterm in almost all the brokers, but I am sure you will be looking for a broker that does not charge much on swap.

Do you mean position trading? Position Trader | Which Type of Trader Are You? | Junior Year | Undergraduate

Investors who hold positions for weeks usually look at trends and ranges on the longer time frames and basically just go for a positive carry trade.

yes isreal, a broker platform. Im registered with nadex but the longest trade is only 1 week. Any recommendation?

thanks

Are you looking for somebody that can teach you long term trading or what?

You need to take time when you write and try to make it clear. Not offense of course. Please.

Still I don’t get what you are looking for. Or maybe you dont get it. Or maybe you cant just explain it.

Just open a trade and keep it open forever… that’s technically long term trading.

Do you mean your broker closes any of your position after one week that you open them?!

Strange, I cant really beleive this is possible but even so where is the problem? As soon as they close your position just open a new same position and that s it!

Strange thing. Immediately move to any other broker. Few good brokers are Oanda,FXCM,Hotforex, etc.
Just google and take your own decision. Don’t forget to try demo accounts first.

Longterm trading is highly profitable and it would be good for you if you practice it in demo account and learns properly so that you can gain the maximum advantages from long term trading.

Long-term is better but need a high capital and a big trading plan than short-term trading. With long-term trading, you don’t spend too much commission because of trading frequently. But I prefer good spread brokers as Exness, HotForex for scalping.
