What pair was it ?
How long was the hold?
Was it a Sell or Buy hold?
How much profit did you earn
Or loss it you finally let it good
The reason I’m asking I got a hold on Gold and I’m praying it will go back up . or do you think I should let it go. Thanks for all replies love you guys

No. Daughter wanted to watch TV with me. Well, not much to tell. Emtered what I thought would be day trade. Went the weing way, but just kept chasing, biut wventually got so far away had to close it down. Lost about £3K or somerhing.

No. Had to close the position in the end. And the overnight funding was an additional loss. Checked it seversl times per day.
Use that time to your advantage somehow!! Don’t let it go to waste!
What kind of analysis do you use? Fundamental? Technical? A mix? What’s your data telling you?
As for me, my longest hold was a few weeks, and I closed at a loss. Of course, not long after, it went back up. It wasn’t a big loss, but I had a profit and watched it go to zero. It was my beloved USD/DKK.
I’m on demo mode and bought Gold last week. And it’s Thanking right now. But I’m still in like my learning stages. I’m trying to do a mixture of both analysis. And thanks for answering ng my question. Lol. This trade is a learning experience hahaha haha

To answer your Gold question, I don’t know what’s going to happen to Gold. Currently it is in a downward trend because the USD is being hyped up as being strong, inflation is manageable etc etc.
I used hyped up because, IMO, we are in bearish markets and until the war in Ukraine is settled market uncertainty is rife.
When I was young I bought a UK TV channel stock (ITV) and held it for about twenty years. Made a small profit on it.
It happened friend, but my demo account expired for me to feel my hold success, but know that it did what I needed felt good. I woke up and it hit that I was like wait what happened lol
