I’m new here and been learning about Forex for only 2 weeks now. I’ve signed up with a few accounts and downloaded a couple of platforms.
There seems to be so much info out there and I’m being bombarded with emails and phone calls from the demo accounts I’ve signed up with - there’s just too much info and choice out there… which isn’t exactly a bad thing.
I’d like to practice things like drawing Fibonacci indicators and other things that I will encounter doing the tutorials on this site.
Is there a demo/free platform of choice that is recommended to use in conjunction with the babypips tutorials?
Ideally I’d like something that has mobile/iphone support but what’s more important is being able to put into practice what I’m learning in the tutorials - without committing to a paid platform at this stage in the game.

Welcome to babypips. Yup there’s a lot out there…lol…and a lot are free. Metatrader is a free platform from many brokers offering free demo accounts…and there are other free ones too of which most offer fibonacci tools. There are a few threads here with advise on brokers so I really don’t feel like repeating it all again…sorry ;)…use the search feature and I’m sure you’ll find them.
I have a related question. I’m also going through pipsology training here and am using MT4 to follow along. But I have come across a problem with the tutorial saying something different than what I see in MT4. Specifically the bit about the 3-click Fibonacci extension levels. In MT4 it doesn’t work this way. What platform are the tutorials using? I’d like to use that for the rest of pipschool.
