Looking for a Good Signal Service

So this is my dilemma… I’m looking for some advice. I LOVE FOREX trading, BUT I work like mostly all 8-10 hours a day. I don’t have time during the day to look at the charts and trade. I then come home and spend time with my family, have a little girl and don’t have time to do much at nights either. So I’m kinda screwed all around, cause the only time I have is the weekends when the market is CLOSED!

I signed up a for signal service and I’ll be honest they are great. THey have about 4-6 trades a day and are profitable. Here’s the worst part… I believe they are in another country, cause I get 70% (2-4) of the trades at 1am-3am!!! So I’m sleeping! The other 2 trades during the day are then kinda like a coin flip. I like being in on ALL trades to offset losses, etc.

  1. I don’t want an EA. I don’t trust them. Don’t want a robot playing with my money. NO way.
  2. I dabbled a bit with zulutrade and ‘maybe’ this is all I have left, but also don’t trust them. I mean, it’s better than nothing, if that’s ALL I’m left with but it’s like a bunch of gun-slingers. Most of which don’t use stop-losses, etc. On top of that because of the FIFO rule the other thing that happens, is I pick traders that place several trades all at once, example, three SELL EUR/USD orders, which is part of their strategy at differnt times and guess what, I can only get in on trade per currency pair at a time. So if I look back at the signal providers history, he may win 3 of 4. I was only able to be in ONE of those trades. Sucks.

I have money to get into trading and can’t figure out a way to trade!!!

Ultimatley what I’d LOVE, is a signal service that operates in the US, so I receive trades while I’m awake from 6am-10pm. I get a txt message, enter the trade/stop/limit and I’m done, win or lose.

Probably asking for too much, but I’d love to hear some recommendations, before I throw in the towel, which will break my heart. I love trading, but just don’t have time to do it.

Any suggestions?

You did well, it is important, especially when we are talking about investing. From what I understood you are a forex trader/follower for quite some time! So you know what your business well. I am also with Zulutrade myself for some time and here is my replies concerning your comments. It is better to use human signals than electronic ones -yeah technical analysis is good, but there are always some mismatch in it. As to my knowledge, FXDD or FXCM - these brokers do not support hedging and FIFO, so you can open an account with them. Additionally, with them you can open more trades of the same pair and the same direction. Whereas, with FXSolution you cannot open trades with the same pair and they keep the FIFO rule, which means that whenever you open a pair in the opposite directions it either closes it or doesn’t let you do it at all.

Concerning the trading hours - When you say 6-10 pm you mean UTC or EST? The simplest what I can think of now is when the you choose your provider check the history and what time is he trading if that suits your time. I know the practice is to get an email (this is for the live account only) whenever a trade is opened or closed or other settings are changed. Did you managed to open a demo account? How is it going with it?

Have you tried “SolomonFX” google them, they allow at least a free week
(if not more ) of trades, signals etc.

Although I would wait now until the new year to take them up on any offer.

It doesn’t matter this free week - always go to a reliable big company, it’s worth it.
and about the time issue? trading is not a hobby like playing soccer, if you loss in soccer nothing happens, if you
loss in trading you loss money. thats the reason that all the people that profit thousands from trading don’t have a normal job.

If you love it some much try to look for normal forex signals and brokers in google.

You’re right John. The big guys I’m sure are trading all crazy hours of the night/day, etc. Heck if I was making that type of money and didn’t work, I’d be up trading too. Maybe someday !

I’m just going to keep searching. I am well aware that I’m not gonna find any magical signal service that exactly after I wake up and have my morning coffee I’m gonna get a signal to clear 200 pips. I’m just looking for something reliable, like you said that I can get quality signals from and grow my account slowly.

I can give you the website I always use, dailyforex.com
It gives daily news about all the important pairs… and it has an objective review about almost every broker,
I mean, it looks objective to me, advantages and disadvantages on everyone… I think its the most objective I found.
This is also where I got all the demo platforms from.
Have fun and take care!

I use also topforexnews.com,
but topforexnews is only for news but it’s very professional, and dailyforex is also great with daily news and actually it has also other things except for news so I like it to.

In all honesty, an automated robot, if you know what it’s doing will do better than any signal provider, or at least equal, and in that way, you have more control over it as well. Or at least get someone to set it up for you assuming you have the money to start trading as you have stated. Something to think about.

Clark

More of a fan of fundamentals and human trading myself but accept of course auto-forex signals to trade for me. Can’t be stuck to the pc 24/7 of course. My advise - try ZuluTrade better than running EAs yourself.
